Kuutamo earrings are handmade of recycled silver. Kuutamo means moonlight. The shimmering surface is like the moon. Each earring has an unique surface, which is made by melting the silver.
Wood is a living material and every piece has its own color and texture. It means, that the texture and color can be little different from piece to piece. Here you find more information about the wood we use. We use mainly wood from Finland.
The materials are carefully chosen. We use only certified European wood. This way we can be sure, that the wood comes from well cared and controlled forests.
Avoid contact with water, this way your Viilu Jewelry will last long. You can oil the wooden surface, if it has some scratches or has been in contact with water. Take a closer look into our care instructions.
The jewelry is handmade by us at our creative workshop Koivisto Studio in Finland. We want to honor the materials and give a hand made touch to them. With a small scale production we ensure good quality and show our care towards the environment. We produce our jewelry as sustainable as possible.
Every Viilu jewelry is delivered in a packaging, which is made of certified cardboard, outer part out of recycled cardboard. Our packaging contains no plastic and they are produced in Finland.
